Where it started
Test2Pro began with a few people preparing for several CSLB exams at the same time, in different classifications. The prep they tried was built for classrooms, not for people who work in the trade all day. With a background in education, they built their own practice bank and used it privately for a long time. The site you see is that tool, reworked for everyone after it had done its job for our own people.
Who writes and checks the questions
Questions are written and reviewed by people who hold CSLB licenses and work in the trades they write about. Every question is original: CSLB does not publish its exam questions, and no legitimate provider has them. We do not list names here; the work speaks for itself on the practice pages.
How questions are made and kept current
- Written from the official CSLB topic areas and their exam weights, in the exam's multiple-choice, closed-book style.
- Checked by a CSLB-licensed reviewer for trade accuracy.
- Checked against the current code edition listed for the exam (California codes, 2025 edition, effective January 2026).
- Published with an explanation, then kept current: the bank is updated continuously, and every practice page shows the month of the last update.

Who it is not for
If you want a live classroom, prep for another state, or someone to file your CSLB application for you, we are not the right fit. License Path shows the steps; CSLB handles the application.
